Neighbourhood Jobs is a lawn maintenance social enterprise of Wentworth Community Housing Ltd with the ultimate goal of smashing intergenerational dependence on social housing and welfare. Neighbourhood Jobs supports disadvantaged young people aged 15-24 from Western Sydney by providing them with paid work experience and the platform to build the skills and confidence required to support themselves into the future.

Your role is responsible for providing administrative support to the business manager and maintaining the daily operations of the business including customer service, data entry, marketing, and sales. This role is vital to the ongoing success of the business and will require a self-motivated and passionate individual who easily adapts and enjoys learning and taking on new challenges.

This is a part time role for a maximum term of three (3) months, with the possibility of extension. Hours are expected to be a minimum of 15 hours per week initially (on days negotiable), with the potential for additional hours. While our office is usually based at Penrith NSW, this role is currently a work from home role. However, some face to face meetings may be required and so it is preferred if you are local to the area.

Selection criteria committed to exceptional customer service. Understanding of social media and marketing. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office suite. Ability to use Microsoft Teams, Skype or other video calling platforms.

Ability to work autonomously and with little supervision including in a working from home environment. Basic understanding of databases such as Salesforce. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively, Positive attitude.

Desirable experience in an administrative role, Experience in a customer facing environment, Experience or qualifications in marketing.
