Our Administration Team at Pine Rivers hospital have several casual vacancies for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to support the hospital's Admissions and Reception desk. The successfull candidate will need to be available Monday to Friday (earliest shift will start at 7am and the latest shift will finish at 8pm) and weekends (10am - 4pm).

As an Administration Officer your responsibilities will include managing a busy reception desk. Answering and redirecting calls. Organising appointments and preparing admission paperwork. General reception duties. Maintaining accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records. Performing Health Fund Checks as required. Managing the collection of excesses/co payments. Coordinating with staff from other departments. Completing other clerical tasks such as data entry.

Essential criteria excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. Strong attention to detail. Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts & weekend work. Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel). Works well independently and within a team. WebPas Hospital system experience (Desired). TAFE/ Certificate - Diploma level qualification in Administration, Business Management or related discipline (or working towards same).
