The Victoria Clinic is an administration officer to join our team on a part time or casual basis in our consulting suites and main reception areas. You will play a key role working within our supportive team to ensure our patients have a positive experience during their care.

About us located on Malvern Road in Prahran, The Victoria Clinic is a 52 patient-bed private psychiatric facility that specializes in the provision of high quality inpatient and outpatient mental health services. All treatments offered are aimed at helping people improve their psychological and emotional well-being in a safe and supportive environment. Individuals are exposed to a variety of therapeutic, recreational and occupational activities as a means of restoring health.

As an administration officer your responsibilities will include perform a broad range of administration duties including manage a busy reception desk. Answer and redirect calls. Organise appointments and prepare admission paperwork. Conduct follow up requests and make reminder calls for visits. Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records. Manage the collection of excesses/co payments. Coordinate with staff from other departments. Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry.

Essential criteria authority to Work in Australia. 1-year administration experience (essential). 1-2 years' medical administration experience (desirable). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. Strong attention to detail. Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
