Your opportunity we have an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Officer to join Mission Australia on a full-time basis until February 2022.  In this role you will be the first point of contact for both clients and visitors, face-to-face and over the phone and ensuring the overall efficient running of the Mt Druitt Office.

Your key responsibilities will be to manage the reception/front office area, taking calls, handling enquiries, and greeting clients. Provide Administrative support to Leaders. Management of accounts payable function: invoicing, expenses, Administering Emergency Relief Vouchers and maintain stock, Document Control, Fleet Management, Management of WHS compliance and first aid.

Manage Travel and accommodation bookings for Leaders. Process procurement of office equipment and stationery orders. Manage and maintain all required asset registers, including phones/devices and accessories. Manage and maintain staff related registers. Policy and procedure support.

Requirements for success 3 – 5 years strong Administration skills. Diploma or Certificate 4 in Business Administration or equivalent skills and experience. High level of customer service skills with the ability to adapt communication to customer needs. Demonstrated solutions focused thinking and problem solving. Intermediate user of Microsoft Suite, e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook.

Time Management & Organisational Skills. Advanced computer skills in Microsoft applications. Experienced in the use of databases and online information systems. Willingness to learn new IT systems in line with the Grant Agreement. Covid vaccination is mandatory. Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications and referee checks.
