About us kids That Go Therapies is a vibrant team of Paediatric clinicians in search of a dynamic and empathetic front-of-clinic maestro. Our beautiful families need reassurance and a clear pathway as they connect with us through reception. Will you join us to help them thrive.

Our growing team is comprised of Occupational Therapists, a Counsellor and Therapy Assistant. We are registered with the NDIS, Medicare, and Private Health Funds. We have a main clinic (Paddington, Brisbane) and two satellite clinics (Nerang and North Lakes) and operate across these locations 5 days/week.

Independence in childhood is our focus, and we help families boost independence and wellbeing through knowledge, nurture and play. We are considered experts in child toileting skill development, so regularly provide support for families and health practitioners in this area.

What our service looks like therapy services (in clinic, in the community, and via telehealth online). A fun environment for kids to explore & learn how to be healthy and independent. Group therapy sessions and programs, for children as well as their families. Mentoring and teaching for other Occupational Therapists and clinicians. Professional development events (for other allied health practitioners).

About the role we are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join us for 5 days a week in our Paddington Clinic. Experience as an administration assistant, medical receptionist or practice manager is preferred with a high interest in client care.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) and work hours are negotiable for the right applicant. We value life/work balance and would like to offer you a 9-day fortnight. Gross remuneration is $25/hr or $1000/week, $52 000/year + 10.5% superannuation.

Daily duties provide outstanding telephone and reception customer service. Welcome children and their caregivers with a smile, and with courtesy to enhance their service experience. Schedule and manage our clinical calendars (Cliniko Practice Management Software). Manage email accounts (Gmail platform) and utilise Google Workspace tools. Utilise Microsoft Office Tools as integrated into daily practice management.

Maintain client records in a confidential, timely and accurate manner according to our procedures (e.g. intake new patients, close files). Process payments in-clinic and over the phone (Square). Manage and support clinic/office resources; including stock management, ordering, and postage. Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe clinic, especially following Covid-19 infection control procedures. Point of contact for professional development events and arranging mentoring sessions with clinicians from other locations.

As the successful applicant, you will have the following skills and attributes a great work ethic, with a desire to learn and excel. A desire to improve our clinic, communications, and our client care. Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work collaboratively within a team. A personality that is enthusiastic, empathetic, honest, and approachable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Minimum 1 years’ experience in similar role. An ability to work within practice guidelines and procedures. Enjoy working with attention to detail, completing tasks accurately and efficiently.

Key dates ideally, you will be available to start training 2 x weeks paid (part-time) beginning Monday the 29th of August. Full-time capacity: from Monday the 12th of September.
