About the role the Graduate School of Health (GSH) are currently recruiting for 2 Administration Officers to join their team on a full-time, fixed term basis of 7 months to cover a parental leave contract. The Graduate School of Health (GSH) and the School of Sports Exercise and Rehabilitation (SoSER) both sit within the Faculty of Health. The GSH is located in central Sydney in the Broadway Campus and the SoSER is based at Moore Park.

The Administration Officer contributes to the efficient operation of the Graduate School of Health (GSH) by providing high-level administrative support for the school. The Administration Officer is the first person to interact with both internal and external visitors to the GSH and is responsible for displaying a welcoming professional environment.

The Administration Officer will also be the first point of contact for email and phone communication, and ensure that the functions of the reception area are managed efficiently and effectively. This role will ensure accurate, timely and appropriate responses to the varied demands on the office in its interaction with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. This includes, but is not limited to, responding to potential student enquiries in a timely matter and with a high level of accuracy.

With examples, please outline in a separate document how you meet the four (4) key selection criteria points good oral, written and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships and rapport with a diverse range of people and organisations.

High-level problem-solving skills, and an ability to juggle competing priorities. Proven ability to work with limited supervision and show initiative. Demonstrated previous experience in a fast-paced administrative position involving the provision of high quality customer service to key stakeholders both within and external to an organisation, including in a culturally diverse environment.

Remuneration base Salary Range $75,243 to $86,078 pa (HEW 5)This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary. This position is full-time and the appointment will be made on a fixed term basis ending 31st December 2023.

This role is a fixed term contract but may be offered as a secondment.
