Administration Officer Uniting Care NSW ACT location Sydney. Uniting has been providing services for disadvantaged and vulnerable children, young people and families for more than 100 years. The Foster care programs focus on ensuring the emotional, physical and educational needs of children and young people are met and their positive well-being and individual development are support and promoted. About the opportunity as the Administration officer you will be responsible for providing high level administrative support to the Western Sydney PSP (formally OOHC) team on a full time permanent basis in North Parramatta. Responsibilities you’ll proactively manage the workload within the administration team in line with the requirements of service delivery teams by liaising with each coordinator and manager within the service area, delegate (and undertake as necessary) general administrational duties including (but are not limited to) minute writing and taking, preparing reports and spread sheets and maintaining the duty, maintain contact and distribution lists for the office location (all programs), regularly coordinate and run admin team meetings and identify and organise team training as required, liaise and build relationships with donors that contribute to the programs (ie christmas gifts), other duties as per position description of the role. About you relevant tertiary qualifications and at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, experience working in a diverse and busy environment, knowledge of business process ideology, including understanding of polices and their application, excellent organisational, time management and prioritising skills, intermediate to advanced skills in microsoft office. Even better experience in whs and/or training, current nsw drivers licence.
