Administration Officer NSW Education Standards Authority location Sydney.

Administration Officer the NSW Education Standards Authority (‘NESA’) was formally established on 1 January 2017 to improve quality teaching and student learning across all schools and school sectors.  It is responsible for the curriculum, assessment, teacher accreditation and regulatory standards in NSW schools, and accreditation of early childhood teachers.

Primary purpose of the role the Administration Officer provides high quality administrative and project support to the Curriculum Standards Directorate, stakeholders and external agencies regarding curriculum and assessment projects.

Key accountabilities provide high quality and accurate administrative support for projects within work units and across the Directorate including preparing routine correspondence, venue hire, invoicing and payments, telephone and email support, organising meetings and drafting of meeting minutes

Provide high quality administrative and meeting support for internal stakeholders including room bookings, room set-up and pack-up, catering, petty cash and other duties as required. Liaise and work with external key stakeholders and NESA officers to coordinate and schedule meetings, committees, events and presentations, including travel and accommodation arrangements and exercising of financial delegations.

Support team members and NESA officers with regard to Directorate policies and processes, including records management, use of technology, development and maintenance of data bases and financial processes. Coordinate relevant committee membership and coordinate committee meetings, including the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas, papers and drafting of meeting minutes.

Assist in the development, monitoring and evaluation of efficient administration processes. Assist in the maintenance of Curriculum Standards Directorate records management policies and processes.
