Petersham Family Medical Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated admin assistant to join it's dynamic and professional team and assist it's busy Receptionists. Your bright and bubbly personality ensures you will always be willing to put the patient first. Hours and days permanent Casual (Mon-Fri), location Petersham, NSW.

Essential bright, engaging, confident personality. Excellent computer skills good people skills and empathy with an understanding of all patients coming to a general practice. Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to handle delicate situations and manage conflict resolution. Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure. Professional level of presentation. Organized and well groomed. Negotiating with appropriate outside service providers/stakeholders.

Summary of duties work autonomously but also work well within the existing team. Answering of telephone calls (preferred but not essential). Deal with online enquiries. Manage and maintain stationery, printer, staff kitchen supplies and consumables, Manage the mail. Listen and respond to overnight voice mail. Make calls to clients/suppliers etc as required by the practice.

Participate in external events by mutual agreement with management. Assist practice team as necessary. Assist accounts and payroll related matters if required. Support business development activities. Assist in maintaining a professional, safe and friendly work environment. Any other administrative and practice maintenance duties as required by the practice to ensure smooth running and development of the practice.
