The Opportunity:

Kent is currently seeking an Administration Assistant to join our Brisbane Project Team working on the Ampol Future Fuels Project at Lytton. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic team working on a cutting-edge project in the energy industry. This role will report to the Senior ER/IR Advisor and is based from Kent’s Construction Village situated in Ampol's Lytton Refinery. This is an amazing opportunity to join a critical Australian infrastructure project which will be instrumental in maintaining local fuel supplies for Australia.

Your Day to Day Will Include:

Support payroll processes by preparing and consolidating timesheets, leave forms, tracking attendance and interacting with the operations and corporate payroll teams.
Manage daily administrative tasks, including but not limited to scanning, filing, data entry, record-keeping, document control, ordering stationery and ensuring accurate and up to date information is available for reporting.
Assisting with leave tracking and addressing inquiries from supervision and craft labour.
Act as backup for the payroll function which includes cost-coding timesheets, producing rosters and responding to payroll queries.
Assist with deliveries, purchases and logistics.
Assist in the organising of on-site functions, milestones and events.
Support the project leadership team as requested and reasonably within your skills and capability.
Assist with plant and equipment tracking and paperwork.
Assist new starters with respect to organising PPE, welcome to the team memos, updating all employment records, designating desks, completing distribution lists and providing necessary equipment
Ad hoc administration requirements as requested.
About You:

Our ideal candidate will have a background in an administrative role within a heavy industrial or project-based environment, bringing with them proven experience in payroll administration, leave and roster management and coding. You will demonstrate strong proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite and possess a keen attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of your work. A customer-focused mindset, a collaborative and accountable approach and a drive for results are essential. The right individual will be energetic, resilient and maintain a positive “can-do” attitude.
