healthAlliance NZ provides non-clinical shared services with an ICT platform to the four Northern Region District Health Boards (DHBs). Our work supports the DHBs’ collective aim of improving healthcare outcomes for the nearly two million people who live in our communities. Technology plays a significant role in the delivery of quality healthcare services and improving patient experiences. We work in collaboration with the DHBs to support their extensive ICT enterprise and to safely accelerate their digital transformation journey.

About the role we are looking for an experienced Administration Assistant to join our team. You will be an integral member of the Technology Services (TS) business unit supporting the daily operations of the Northern Region’s information and communications systems.

The key responsibilities include assist and support +- 15 People Leaders and two Heads of Department in the achievement of TS business unit objectives through providing efficient, comprehensive and confidential administration support. Manage and/or provide support for a variety of small projects. Provide general administrative back up to the wider hA teams as required.

About you the person we need is someone with well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at a time. You’ll be able to hit the ground running and keep up with the demand of multiple busy teams.

To be successful in this role, you will need an interest in the health or ICT industry. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar administration role. Formal Qualification such as Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Studies or Communication. High level of computer literacy including extensive practical experience working with Microsoft office packages and other related packages.
