An opportunity exists for a part-time Administration Assistant, on a 6 month temporary Parental leave placement at our Head Office in Waterloo, to help support our amazing volunteers located across 13 countries in the Asia Pacific region. The position is 28 hours with flexibility to spread over either 4 or 5 days per week.  The temporary placement is from June 2023 to December 2023.

This is a varied role responsible for a wide range of office administration tasks and support to ensure the organisational effectiveness and efficiency of our Head Office, along with assisting with implementing our marketing and communication activities.

Duties merchandise, online sales & inventory. Accounts receivable transactions including processing in MYOB. Database management. Google accounts administration. Website content updates and editing. Assisting with member newsletters via Mailchimp. Assisting with marketing collateral development for projects and events. Social media postings. Ad hoc support in all administration tasks. Ad hoc support in all marketing & communication activities.

Essential Skills, Knowledge & experience previous administration experience MYOB experience or equivalent accounting package. Accounts receivable experience. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Social media skills. Communication & customer service skills.

Time management & organisational skills. Must have own car & drivers license.

Desirable Skills, Knowledge & experience website content updates & editing experience. Database management experience. Experience or interest in marketing & social media activities. Mailchimp or similar email marketing platform experience.
