Administration Assistant Ramsay Clinic Albert Road location Melbourne.

A wonderful opportunity exists for a motivated Administration Assistant to support new research studies commencing at the Ramsay Clinic Albert Road Research Unit. This position will be Fixed Term (12months) Part Time. The administration assistant role requires a flexible and adaptable person who can learn multiple facets of our business and happily immerse themselves within a different department on a daily basis

About the role working in our team across the Clinical Trials and Research program your key responsibilities may include supporting patient recruitment, data entry, research document management, teamwork and networking and other research unit tasks.

As a member of our clinical team you will work closely with our Research Unit Manager and other members of the team on our current research projects. This is an opportunity to work alongside our Principal Investigators, Sponsors, Research Coordinators and Hospital Management to assist the day-to-day running of our research program. In this role you will report to the Ramsay Clinic Albert Road Research Unit Manager.

About you to succeed in this role, you will have exceptional communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong attention to detail. You will have meticulous attention to detail, strong self-motivation and ability to work independently and cooperatively, as required, ensuring that the research activities conducted by the unit offer a high quality, professional and efficient research service to both Investigators and Sponsors.

Essential tertiary qualifications in a health, science or administration, with subsequent experience preferred. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently. Meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong keyboard and computer skills using the MS Office programs.

Demonstrated understanding of medical terminology. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective research collaboration and engagement. Demonstrated ability to work independently, with multidisciplinary stakeholders and to see and accept direction as required.

Desirable experience working in a mental health setting. Previous administrative experience in a research and/or hospital setting. Knowledge and/or experience maintaining databases. An understanding of the principles of the International Conference on Harmonisation and Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP). The role will also provide great opportunity to learn under the mentorship of experienced researchers, and develop skills, knowledge, and experience. Remuneration from - $ 51,740.97 plus superannuation (pro-rata) based on experience level and qualifications.
