The Position St John of God Healthcare at Home (HAH) offers a range of at home services including hospital substitution, acute and non-acute services to assist patients recover after a hospital stay. A position is now available for an Administration Assistant Funding & Billing to join our administrative team to provide collaborative administration support for the Healthcare at Home service in our Head Office located in Osborne Park.

We are looking for a self-starter with a strong work ethic who are able to prioritise and multitask, and can provide the highest standard of customer service for patient needs in all areas of service while also upholding privacy and confidentiality at all times.

In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the completion of prompt and efficient funding and billing service within Patient Administration, including liaising with health funds and /or patients to source appropriate funding for our services and monitoring application of funding agreements. The position will be offered on a full time (76 hours per fortnight) basis. The successful Applicants will have ability to work within and contribute to the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care. Proven experience with patient billing and funding contracts and other administrative duties. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve goals.

Excellent computer skills including use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs and accurate data entry with attention to detail. Analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated commitment to customer service and patient experience. Sound understanding of the importance of confidentiality and patient sensitivity. Previous experience in a health related environment (Desirable). Knowledge of medical terminology (Desirable). Knowledge and experience of the private health sector, in particular working with various Health Funds and health fund billing and contracts (Desirable). Experience with Patient Management Systems (Desirable).

We are offering salary $64,355 - $69,469 + 10.5% superannuation per annum. Generous salary packaging options. Up to $15,900 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, your rent, or other everyday living expenses.
