Salary Package $70,536 - $76,022 (HEW 4) p.a. plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading. Appointment Type 1.0 FTE, Fixed Term (11 month maternity leave cover). Location Mia Mia Child and Family Study Centre, Macquarie University, Wallumattagal Campus (North Ryde. Start date February 2023.

The role reporting to the Director of Mia Mia Child and Family Study Centre, this is an exciting opportunity for a highly driven, dynamic and agile Administration Assistant with operational administration experience to further their career within a collaborative, diverse and rewarding work environment.

The Administration Assistant is responsible for performing front line reception duties at the Centre, including answering phone queries, liaising with families and stakeholders, and greeting and supporting families arriving and leaving. The position is responsible for accurate record keeping, including maintaining wait lists and enrolments and keeping the Centres attendance and immunisation records up to date.

This role also includes overseeing the financial operations of the Centre, as the Administration Assistant processes fees, payments, manages invoices, and manages the Child Care Subsidy (CCS). The Administration Assistant responds to or appropriately escalates, queries about the centre and its activities to the Director. This position is to commence in February 2023.

Qualification or relevant qualification and/ or equivalent experience intermediate computer skills including Microsoft office, and other database systems; HubHello, MyWaitlist, Concur, WorkDay, Squiz. Knowledge of the Child Care Subsidy (CCS). Time management and organisational skills.

Experience in providing general and personal assistant administration in a complex environment, preferably in education setting. Proven ability to coordinate multiple activities with minimal supervision while delivering to tight timeframes. Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with teams. Previous demonstrated experience in providing high quality customer service to current families and potential families. Working with a diverse group of stakeholders.
