Administration Assistant Victoria University location Melbourne.
This is a full time at a HEP 4, $63,896 - $67,802 classification plus 17% superannuation working 36.75 hours per week over a fixed term contract period, until October 2023. About the role the overall purpose of the Administration Assistant role is to provide a high level of administrative and front-of-house support in our student-led health clinics. The clinics provide important health services to the local communities making this role a very important first point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders. There is also a requirement to work on campus to support the clinics’ operations. This position sits within the clinic administration workstream which supports a number of other VU student health clinics across the College of Health and Biomedicine and the College of Sport and Exercise Science.
About the person the successful candidate will have previous experience in a busy office/clinic environment, a positive attitude, excellent customer service, well presented, proactive, and committed to providing exceptional support to our staff, students, and clinic visitors. This essential clinic role requires a flexible and independent individual who enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds, effectively prioritises tasks, works collaboratively with others, and is able to adapt to changing work environment. We will also require you to provide and maintain the currency of your police check and Working with Children Check.
