Great students. Great staff. Great environment. St Laurence's College is a Catholic School in the Edmund Rice Tradition with an enrolment of approximately 1950 boys from Years 5-12. Applications are invited for a permanent, term-time, Administration Assistant to assist our Diverse Learning Department, to commence as soon as possible or as negotiated with the successful candidate.  The work hours for this position is 7.30am-3.30pm, Monday-Friday. This role is term-time, which is not required to work over the school holiday periods. The Administration Assistant is to provide administrative assistance and support to the Head of Diverse Learning and the Learning Support Department.

A copy of the Position Description is available on the College Website, however the successful application will have at least 2-3 years’ experience in a personal assistant or senior administration role. Must have advanced computer skills in all Microsoft applications (specifically Excel). Must have strong database experience in updating and retrieving data for reports (with excellent accuracy, preferably in TASS or similar system. Experience in Reception and front desk duties. A formal qualification eg Certificate III in Business Administration, would be looked at favourably. A current Blue Card and a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain the certification). Full details of the Selection Criteria can be accessed on page 5 of the Position Description.
