Administration Assistant Transport for NSW location Sydney.

Multiple opportunities available. Permanent, full-time opportunities based in Auburn. RC Grade 2 $65,211 - $74,659 + superannuation and annual leave loading.

The Team - Major Works division we're modernising the state's metropolitan rail infrastructure in partnership with Transport for NSW and the private sector. Major Works delivers maintenance, renewal (and some capital works) on the metropolitan railway assets - track, civil, signals, control systems, electrical, operational technology. We enable and support Transport for NSW infrastructure investments in the rail network to maintain the safe, on-time running of our trains for our customers, who are at the heart of what we do.

The opportunity the role of Administration Assistant offers a chance to assist in the smooth running of our Major Works teams, who deliver innovative projects to communities we work with all over NSW. You'll help us deliver our projects on time, on budget and in line with our customer's needs. To keep our teams updated and projects on track, you will need to build relationships and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

In these roles, no two days are the same. You'll be involved in a variety of tasks including preparing packs and presentations, researching, collecting, entering and compiling data and information, and preparing standard reports and documents making minor modifications as required.

You'll also be involved in inbox management, managing inquiries, collection and distribution of supplies, organising events. Preparing reports, drafting letters and documents, take and prepare meeting minutes and agenda, distribute and file documents and diary management. Preparing purchase requests, including office supplies, providing onsite support (including security passes, repairs to fix equipment/facilities and cleaning etc).

About you to be successful in this position you will be a high-energy, go-getting self-starter, who can work independently, managing multiple requests and dealing with a variety of different teams and stakeholders. You'll have some experience working in the administration space and will be keen to display your strong Office 365 skills particularly in PowerPoint and Excel.

As an important support to the team, you'll put your excellent communication skills to work to develop great relationships with key stakeholders and ensure the best administrative outcomes. You are proactive, resilient and tenacious, and enjoy chasing outcomes and keeping things on track. You're able to work comfortably within a team and find working through problems with others to find a solution satisfying. Demonstrated organisational and time management skills are also required, with the ability to plan, prioritise and complete work within allocated timeframes.

Salary and benefits the salary for this position is RC Grade 2 ($65,211 - $74,659) plus superannuation and annual leave loading.
