Administration Assistant Ambulance Service NSW location Sydney. About us total remuneration package valued at $68, 687 pa (including salary $58, 213 pa to $61, 969 pa annual leave loading and employers contribution to superannuation). In the role of Administration Assistant at NSW Ambulance, reporting to the Director of Safety and Recovery you will play a vital role in the team. It is our expectation that you will take responsibility for the administration and follow NSW Ambulance processes closely at each stage. Working with a close-knit team of professionals your role will include but is not limited to support the director safety & recovery with all administrative tasks including taking minuets and managing outlook appointments, maintain various databases including data entry and generation of statistical and management reports from various databases and production of supporting graphics on a regular basis, prompt processing of documentation and all correspondence in a timely manner, creation and maintenance of various trim files, handle and/or refer telephone inquiries received, provide administrative support to the safety and recovery including filing, photocopying, scanning, faxing, accounts, mail and stores and stationery matters, maintain an awareness of relevant whs issues and equity and diversity principles, manage, monitor and report on key performance indicators as they relate to the position. The successful applicant will demonstrate experience in a high volume, detail driven, business administration role, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, great communication skills (written and verbal), excellent computer literacy (email, word, excel), an ability to multitask, work under pressure and work with tight deadlines, an ability to self-manage and work independently, a proactive approach to building positive and constructive working relationships with colleagues, customers and all external stakeholders, an ability to question, investigate and problem solve, a flexible approach to work and a capacity to learn and convey new information, a highly ethical moral compass focused on protecting the best interests of nswa and the safety and recovery unit. Employment conditions the successful applicant will be appointed under the terms and conditions of the Ambulance Service of New South Wales Administrative & Clerical Employees (State) Award and will be required to enter into the annual Performance Development Program. Appointment to this position is subject to a satisfactory conduct and services check including referee/supervisor check, a review of National Police check and review of the Service Check Register. A review of excess annual and sick leave, PDP status, ability to undertake full duties of the position and clearances from Legal, Regulatory and Professional Standards, Ambulance Education Centre and Infection Control. The successful applicant may be required to undertake duties at the other centres should the need arise. No Ambulance accommodation is provided. Completion of NSW Health Mandatory Training courses is a mandatory requirement for all NSW Health and NSW Ambulance employees applying for this position.
