Administration and Guest Liaison Kimberley Quest location Broome.

Kimberley Quest is a long standing multi-award winning marine tourism operator, specialising in Kimberley cruises onboard the Kimberley Quest II. Cruises operate from February through to November throughout the remote Kimberley coast between Broome and Wyndham catering for up to 18 guests and eight crew.

Our company is currently seeking a Sales and Administration Guest Liaison Co-ordinator to join our small dynamic team based in Broome. The Sales and Administration Guest Liaison Co-ordinator plays an integral role in the team to assist in the day to day running of the business. Attention to detail, time management, flexibility, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are vital to this position.

Your role will include operations, sales and marketing support, reservations support, general administration and office organisation/tidiness. The successful applicant will present themselves in a highly professional manner. This is an exciting and dynamic position where you will be involved in all aspects of tourism and business operation. You will have the opportunity to grow and enhance your knowledge.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to provide high-end guest service from the enquiry, to booking, to boarding. Collate cruise documentation and guest information for cruise planning. Berthing, bunkering and provisions. Arrange guest transfers (bus, light aircraft and heli) and manifests. Meet and Greeting guest transfers, as required. Sales and Marketing support, Reservations support, Vessel ordering, Database management, Shopping on changeover days as required, Vessel assistance as required, General administration, Inventory management, Office organisation/tidiness.

Essential skills minimum 2 years experience in a tourism operations / administration position. Well developed sales skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. An excellent eye for detail. Strong sense of responsibility and professional presentation. Exceptional organisation and time management skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team. Demonstrated computer ability. Knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel. Available to work weekends and fulfill rostered on-call duties as per vessel schedule. Must have 'C' class drivers licence - preferably manual.

Desirable skills previous experience in the Kimberley tourism industry would be advantageous but not essential. Experience in Reservation Systems. Experience in tourism operations. Sales and marketing experience. Knowledge of the Kimberley region. Location Broome. Only applicants who will be in Broome long-term will be considered for this position. Employment conditions. This is a full time seasonal position (8:00am – 4:00pm, 5 days per week) with some flexibility required.
