Admin Assistant Lady Kate location Tamworth and North West NSW.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team as an Admin Assistant. Working across two growing, family businesses based in Narrabri, the role is varied and will give the candidate experience across different facets of a small business. As our businesses grow, our hope is that the candidate will develop and shape the role into their own, becoming a valuable member of our team.
About Us Lady Kate is an online knitwear label selling Australian Merino wool jumpers, scarves and socks. The label has grown rapidly over the last twelve months and our new team member will help in the customer service, fulfillment and marketing sides of the business.
Exact Aviation is an aerial spraying business with a permanent team of six staff that can double in busy times. Our new team member will help with general admin, managing WH&S compliance and bookkeeping. The businesses are run by me (Penny) and my husband, and I work across both businesses. As our Admin Assistant you would be working with and reporting to me, sharing my current role and helping to develop your role as our businesses grow.
About the role the role covers many different facets of business operations including marketing, customer service, bookkeeping and WH&S.
Duties include Lady Kate responding to customer enquiries via email, Instagram and Facebook, processing customer sales, exchanges and returns via Shopify, fulfilling orders, creating social media posts across Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest, creating email marketing campaigns.
Exact Aviation managing staff to ensure training and compliance is up to date, managing machinery, plane and vehicle maintenance documentation, building WH&S documentation systems (online cloud-based and paper records), writing agendas and minutes for internal staff meetings and managing staff to follow-up on actions, amending and developing current WH&S procedures, basic bookkeeping and reconciling accounts, developing general admin and filing systems.
About you prior experience and qualifications are helpful, but most importantly we want someone who has a good work ethic, is keen to learn, enthusiastic and motivated. Other things we're looking for include good attention to detail and proof-reading skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to handle confidential information with discretion, sound computer skills (Office Suite), positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment, ability to multi-task, organise and prioritise workload effectively.
