Accounts Receivable Officer MTA NSW location Sydney. Founded in 1910, Motor Traders’ Association (MTA) of NSW is the peak Employer’s Association dedicated to representing owners and business principals in the NSW automotive industry. We support our members in the daily running of their businesses, as well as lobbying governing bodies to ensure a long and viable automotive industry in NSW.

About the role reporting to the financial accountant, an opportunity has become available within our finance team to become an integral member of a team that provides operational insights to enhance and support the strategic decision-making capabilities of the ceo and the management team.

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to raising invoices and sending out statements, processing returns and refunds, daily bank reconciliations, investigate and resolve the uncleared payment and discrepancy issues, preparing cash and cheque deposits, reconcile ar related balance sheet accounts, attend to any customer related queries, proactively suggesting and supporting improvements and efficiency in the business, other general administrative tasks as required by the organization.

The requirements extensive experience with myob or dynamics 365 business central, understanding of accounts receivable and credit management knowledge, accurate data entry, proficient in excel, ability to work independently and within a team environment, demonstrate plenty of initiative and excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and multi-task, desire to be a genuine, positive and productive member of the team. To be considered for this role it is essential that you have excellent written and communication skills are a multitasker and have good attention to detail. A diploma in Accounting is desirable but not essential, however if you have loads of hand on experience, we welcome your application.
