THE ROLE

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader, the purpose of this role is to support the Accounts Receivable processes and systems by ensuring payments are received in a timely manner, accurately recorded and discrepancies resolved. Previous experience within a high-volume retail environment would be highly regarded.

 

Key responsibilities include:

End to End ownership of debtor’s ledger
Cash Receipting and Allocation of payments
Reconciliation of customer accounts
Liaising with internal and external customers with regards to account queries
Creation of new Debtor Master Files
Processing of miscellaneous invoices, credit notes and journals
ABOUT YOU

To be successful, you will have:

Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)
Previous experience in Great Plains or Similar ERP systems will be highly regarded
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel e.g. Vlookup and Pivot Tables
Strong numerical skills
Highly organised, good time management and prioritisation skills
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven skills using your initiative and being proactive
Well-rounded skills working effectively within a team, whilst being able to work independently when required
