In this position you will be responsible for performing daily batching, processing, and balancing of invoices, including refunds into the Accounts Payable information system. Reviewing transaction lines for correct account number coding. Matching purchase orders and/or other documentation with invoices to substantiate payment.

Reviewing appropriate authorisations prior to invoice payment. Creating and maintain creditor information electronically. Checking ATO and ASIC websites to ensure new supplier validity. Reviewing proposed payment report to identify any anomalies. Drawing and distribute weekly BPAY, EFT and occasional cheque payments including emergency out of cycle payments as well as various other accounts payable tasks as needed. This is a permanent full time position with an annual salary range of $72,704 - $77,133 per annum + 11% superannuation and a monthly day off arrangement.

You are based within our bright, modern and sustainable 311 Glenferrie Road office on the corner of High Street and Glenferrie Road in Malvern where boutique stores, cafes and health clubs are in abundance. From the office you can easily walk to Malvern Gardens, High Street Armadale or Glenferrie Road. Malvern and Armadale Train Station are a short walk away and tram stops are out the front of the building.

To thrive in this role you will ensure the information, advice and output in regard to duties and responsibilities are accurate, timely and meet the needs of the users. Ensure that the objectives of the work are well defined with the ability to use acquired work skills and knowledge to process invoices and prepare reports required.

Be capable in the application of appropriate procedures and practices in the processing of accounts payable and subsequent reporting. Have the ability to organise and plan own workload and meet objectives within required time frames. Have good verbal communication skills and the ability to gain the cooperation and assistance of management, staff, consultants and contractors.
