An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on a permanent basis in Melbourne’s CBD.

Position description reporting into the Finance Manager, your daily tasks will include but not be limited to invoice processing. Completing weekly & ad hoc payment runs. Statement reconciliations. Handle supplier queries. Management of relationships with suppliers. Month end duties. Ad hoc tasks as required. Produce purchase orders in line with Company Policy. Vendor file maintenance.

Candidate profile the successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar end to end Accounts Payable role. You will also have the following attributes at least 2 years of experience in accounts payable desirable. High attention to detail and an ability to prioritise own work. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Demonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously, as well as collaboratively among a close knit team. Ability to work proficiently in a high volume environment. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
