Our client is a well established and leading player in the coal mining industry and is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join their Corporate Team on a permanent basis. This is a fully based office role.

Due to significant growth there is now an excellent opportunity to join a high performing business and a collaborative team. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will have a broad set of responsibilities including processing of accounts payable invoices. Managing the accounts payable inbox & respond to queries. Bank reconciliations. Cash flow forecasting. Preparation of EFT payment runs. Assisting with various ad‐hoc duties as they occur.

To be considered for this position, the ideal candidate will possess minimum 2 to 3 years accounts payable experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills. Be resilient and have the ability to work on their own initiative. Knowledge of purchasing and purchase order systems. Good all round level of computer literacy (MS Office).
