Reporting to the AP Manager you will be motivated and work within a team of accounts payable officers. You will be responsible for overseeing the day to day activities, responsibilities will include, Full Function accounts payable processing invoice matching and processing, expense claims and corporate credit card claims for payment. Oversee the payments forecasting for cashflow management.

Develop and implement appropriate AP controls across the entire company. Liaise with other teams in finance, and being a main support for the purchasing function, preparation of purchasing and other ad hoc reports as required and assist with Refresher training and provide advice to purchasing users. Oversee the management of the petty cash float and reimbursements, including dispensing of cash, journals and reconciliations.

Answering internal and external accounts payable enquires providing remittance advices and payments status updates, collect and distribute mail for the accounts payable team. Undertake specific Finance related project work & support to the team as required.

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 2 years experience in an accounts payable officer position. Previous experience with Great Plains / Concur is preferred however not essential. With a hands on style and can do attitude, you will be a critical member to this organisation having a positive impact and to the team in providing effective results. It goes without saying you will have excellent communication skills and have a can do attitude with the ability to influence, mentor and inspire.
