Accounts Payable Officer Astute Early Years Specialists location Brisbane.

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. Responsibilities bank and credit card reconciliations. Accounts payable/receivable. Payroll assistance, Data entry, Process invoices and purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner. Verify and reconcile vendor statements. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any payment issues.

Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions. Prepare and process weekly and monthly payment runs. Assist with month-end closing procedures. Provide support to the finance team as needed.

Qualifications & Experience Diploma of Bookkeeping would be highly desirable. Studying Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 3+ years experience in a comparable finance role.

Ability to work to strict deadlines. Advanced computer skills on G Suite, MS Office, accounting software, and databases. Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations. High attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Xero essential and Employment Hero is desirable.
