As a forward-thinking global logistics company with a strong emphasis on innovation, technology, and operational excellence, we are on the hunt for an Accounts Payable Officer with three to five years of experience who is willing to work onsite in our Melbourne location.  This role will provide flexible working hours and the amount of hours worked per week is open for discussion.

What you'll need to succeed the Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for end-to-end accounts payable functions including processing invoices with accuracy whilst managing all AP enquiries. Daily tasks will include processing payments and payment clearings, reconciliation of statements and reconciling general ledger data. Some of the key areas of accountability include execution, follow up, investigation and recording of information in line with processed.

Reconcile vendor statements and payment clearing accounts. Respond to enquiries from both internal and external customers. High volume invoice processing. Educate internal stakeholders on processes, rules and of purchase orders from requisition to payment. Identify process improvements and work collaboratively within a team. Cross train to provide appropriate cover across the finance team.

The Accounts Payable Officer will have exceptional customer service skills, demonstrate adaptability and initiative and more importantly have a great attitude who enjoys contributing to a close knit and high performing team.

You will need to demonstrate 3-5 years proven experience in an Accounts Payable role experience and clear understanding of GST implications. Reconciliation experience. High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
