Accounts Payable Appreciating Recruitment Group location Sydney. Salary Up to $75,000 pkg. We are recruiting for a brand new opportunity for an Accounts Payable officer in Sydney's CBD fringe. This business are an extremely well recognised and respected brand, employing 600 + people and have tripled in size due to their aggressive growth and repeat business. They are a genuine leader and innovator within their field and offer a very appealing opportunity for an accounts payable officer wanting to step into a large accounts payable team. Due to their high volume workload this is a brand new position and has the potential to develop in other areas of the finance team. Attitude and communication are key to this position as you will be dealing with stakeholders and people at levels, good customer service skills and a positive attitude are essential attributes for you to be successful in this role the duties for this role include daily processing of vendor invoices, solving all po-related issues, booking all related transactions in full accordance with internal guidelines, tax regulations as well as local & international standards, preparing the payment proposal which will be reviewed by the transaction supervisor, dealing with accounts payable queries and resolving while maintaining key client relationships, applying and documenting the vendors' control program, which includes all tasks which are defined for every month, e.g. the review of the vendors' open items, the screening of debit vendor balances and of the aged vendors' balances, completing all monthly vendor (statutory and group) closing tasks, related reporting included, within the pre-defined deadlines and which content is more developed in case of quarterly, half-year or annual closing, payment runs, assist finance team with completing internal recoveries of expenses on a monthly basis, complete reconciliations as required. You will be proactive member of the team who can help out in various aspects of accounts, 1-3 years + accounts payable experience, a confident communicator and problem-solver, have effective time management skills, have a high degree of accuracy and eye for detail, have a positive attitude and willingness to learn, in return you will receive the opportunity to work for a highly successful and well-known brand as well as working in brand newly renovated offices with a supportive team and opportunities for career progression.
