Accounts Officer Samaro Homes PL location Sydney, South West and M5 Corridor. Our company Samaro Homes located in the Macarthur area is currently seeking an Accounts Officer to join our team on a full time basis. Reporting to the Director and Financial Controller, the Accounts Officer is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective recording and processing of payments, invoices and statements, including weekly payroll processing and monitoring the systems and processes used on a daily basis to ensure accuracy and compliance in regards to organisational policy and procedure. The successful applicant must have the ability to juggle several competing priorities in an efficient and stress free manner. A high level of organisation is an absolute must for this position. The successful applicant will have and be able to minimum 5 year experience in a finance or accounts related role, experience using myob or a similar style of accounting package, advanced computer literacy and fluent in word, excel and outlook, good written and verbal communication skills, highly numerate with strong attention to detail, resourceful, innovative, forward thinking and committed, meticulous attention to detail and commitment to a successful delivery of a task, preparation of monthly management accounts, carrying out finance functions for multiple businesses, reviewing and reconciliation of key expense and balance sheet items, payroll processing including all superannuation contributions, a confident self-starter & team player who can work autonomously with those in your team both on-site & remotely, grasp processes and systems quickly, strong attention to detail & an analytic and problem-solving mindset, possess excellent time management and organisational skills, you are comfortable working to tight deadlines.
