About us inGauge Energy has been operating for 12 years, and in that time we have developed our depth and strength in well engineering and project management. We provide a full range of services to the Energy industry, from design and feasibility studies right through to full program execution.

The people that support project delivery, like our finance team, are critical to inGauges’ success. Without them, we couldn’t deliver the quality of outcomes that we do. This is why we are looking for a very special Accounts Officer for our team.

About the role we’re seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Officer to support our growing organisation. You’ll manage accounts payable and receivable, handle financial reporting, and ensure compliance, all while providing essential support across various departments.

What will you be doing manage accounts payable and receivable, generate and follow up on invoices, process payments, and resolve payment discrepancies. Maintain accurate financial records, reconcile bank statements, and support month-end and year-end processes.

Assist with tracking project-related expenses, prepare financial summaries, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies, maintaining organised records.

Address enquiries, resolve payment issues, and build positive relationships with suppliers and customers. Provide general administrative assistance, including managing company and project registers, and supporting ad-hoc tasks. Contribute to a safe workplace by adhering to our Health and Safety policies.

About you we’re looking for someone who has the applied skills equivalent to at least a diploma in accounting, book-keeping or business. Has at least 3 years of relevant finance experience. Is proficient in accounting software (Xero preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.

Has strong numerical skills and a keen eye for detail. Possesses excellent organisational and time management skills. Communicates clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally. Can handle sensitive and confidential information with care.
