Accounts Officer Aster Alliance location Melbourne.
Aster Alliance is an Australian-owned and operated company and is the property partner to the non-bank, insolvency, and banking sectors across Australia and New Zealand. Aster specializes in the asset management of properties in possession for its clients which includes management of valuations, building advisory, construction delivery and the real estate sales process.
As Aster Alliance’s property book continues to rapidly grow, the requirement for an Account Officer has arisen in our Melbourne office.
Working closely with our operations team, the successful applicant will be required to complete the following tasks ensure billables are up to date for any payout figures. Ensure all payables are processed accurately and on time. Schedule and process vendor payments. Reconciliation of accounts. Follow up overdue accounts. Assistance with reporting. Entering staff expenses ensuring company policies are being abided to. Monitoring of the Accounts Payable inbox. Ad hoc tasks as required.
The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate the following minimum 2 years accounts experience. Competent in XERO. Strong communication skills. Ability to work in fast paced environment. Comfortable working in an office environment. Highly organised with good time management skills. Ability to multi-task. Attention to detail. Intermediate computer skills (experience in Excel, MS Office Suite).
