Accounts Officer Aidmax Recruiting location Auckland. $66,000 – $70,000 per year.

About the role join us at The Fono Trust in 2024.  We are looking for accounts officer with a suitable business qualification and practical expertise in accounting including invoicing system activities. Debtor management. Financial Experience. Auditing Experience. Social support payments.

Liaising with outside organisations including pacific community entities, leaders and finance persons. Credit card issuers and part pay providers regarding payments. Internal auditing checks. Preparing reports for the CFO on activities. This is a permanent employment position.  Location is 117 Carbine Rd Mt Wellington. Hours are 40 per week - usually 8.30-5pm Monday to Friday with some variation for meetings or training.  Salary band (minimum $66,000 up to $70,000.00 - depending on expertise and attributes) plus use of phone – laptop.  Full holidays and leave entitlements (as per legislation).

About you what you will need for this position is a recognised New Zealand or Pacific institution tertiary business qualification and suitable vocational experience (3-4 years). Accounts processing skills including invoicing processing, payment management, analysis and reporting together.

Ability to provide support at peak times across the entire accounting function as required. Flexibility to adapt to fast evolving circumstances and proven capability in adapting to new technology. Exceptional relationship expertise with an ability to develop rapport across a wide range of people.

Proven project participation experience. An understanding of Pacific cultures and protocols and being keen to be part of making a real difference for Pacific people across Auckland. See also our Accountant position also being advertised.  Link to thefono.org/careers.
