Accounts Officer Midnight i.T location Melbourne, CBD and Inner Suburbs. We are now seeking an Accounts Officer to assist the end-to-end financial functions of the business. Reporting to the Managing Director, and working alongside an External Accountant, your role will mainly focus on managing end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, timely and accurate processing of invoices daily, manage debtors, ensure an efficient cashflow, month-end journals posting, reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies, verify and process supplier payments in a timely manner, bank and credit card reconciliations and banking, maintain accounting system, and seek continuous improvement, provide financial information on p&l, cashflow as required, liaise with clients, vendors and internal team members to resolve problems promptly, assist with hr functions, such as managing employment profile, coordinating recruitment process, manage and process payroll, other ad-hoc tasks as required. To succeed in this role, you will have/ be educational background in accounting/ finance, 2 years of relevant experience, good understanding of or a passion for it industry will be a plus, excellent people and communication skills, strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, experience with xero will be preferable but training will be provided if not, a self-starter and ready to hit the ground running.
