Accounts Assistant, Platinum Edge Painting, Campbellfield, Melbourne VIC

Well established Melbourne based commercial painting and project management company requires an Accounts Assistant to join our team in Campbellfield.This is a part time role, 2 days per week (15hrs per week), with the possibility of future growth.

Responsibilities manage supplier incoming emails, invoice processing into job costing and accounting systems. Liaise with suppliers to resolve invoice queries. Prepare supplier payments and month end statement reconciliations.

Assist with Accounts Receivable function. Provide support with month end and year end processes. A strong understanding of retentions and subcontractor payment schedules. Retention follow up and collection.

Collaborating with the finance team to improve efficiency. Performing other administrative duties as required to support the smooth running of the finance function. Reporting to the Finance Manager.

To excel in this Role, you must have experience with the MYOB accounting system. Have experience with AroFlo or similar job management software. Have strong attention to detail and take pride in your work. Be proficient in power point, excel, word and office.

Be happy to work independently and also take direction. Have previous experience in the construction industry. Have excellent communication skills with both external clients and team members. Be able to work independently and use your own initiative.
