Accounts Assistant Hunter Campbell Limited location Auckland. $55,000 - $65,000 based on experience.

The role as the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, transactions (NZ & AU), and monetary assets whilst efficiently meeting the needs of stakeholders. You will be backed by a great Finance Team with the support of an impressive Finance Manager who is keen to mentor young accounting professionals.
Key responsibilities code and record supplier invoices. Prepare 20th of the month payment batch for creditor payments and reconcile supplier statements. Handle supplier and credit card queries. Facilitate and process employee expense reimbursements. Process and record credit card transactions. Appropriately allocate sales invoices, ensuring overdue invoices are followed up. Reconcile bank statements. Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.
About you ideally, you will have experience working as an Accounts Assistant / Administrator and enjoy working within an SME environment. You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude and be eager to learn and upskill under great mentorship. You will enjoy being part of and contributing to a supportive team and will have exceptional organisational skills. You will have a tertiary qualification in accounting/business and will be driven to grow within your accounting career.
