About New Lynn Bowling Club The New Lynn Bowling Club was established in 1927 and provides the community with a diverse range of activities based around the core delivery of lawn bowls. The club is rich in history and has a small team who is dedicated to be the heart of the community by maximizing the usage of the facilities which include one outdoor natural green, one covered artificial green, commercial kitchen, bar, gaming machines, and vast club rooms.

Job Purpose or Background this position is responsible for the establishment and tracking of the financial requirements of New Lynn Bowling Club, playing a key role in the overall financial health of the business. This includes both day-to-day financial responsibilities, end of month reporting, and end of year reporting (including managing the audit process). It is a part-time role (10 hours per week) which can spread across multiple days or as required by the successful applicant.

Key responsibilities preparing all monthly and yearly financial reporting documents. All accounts payable, receivable, payroll and GST requirements. Review and ensure all financial policies and systems are best practice, modern, efficient and maximise profitability. Review and ensure all business systems are efficient and modern. Identify possible financial and business system opportunities that may apply to clubs. Club membership data collection and payments.
