Description

Accounts Administrator Rabo Construct Ltd location Auckland. Salary $50,000 - $59,999.

Broadly your responsibilities will include process order forms efficiently and accurately using the company's systems and processes ensuring all standard processes are followed. Raise accounts receivable invoices using the company's accounting system in accordance with standard company processes. Raise accounts payable invoices using the company's accounting system in accordance with standard company processes. Seek approval from account signatory authorities and pay accounts payable bills via online banking.

Audit purchase receipts for all major purchases to ensure a receipt exists and a copy is kept. Scan and file receipts electronically following the approved company processes for purchases. Initiate and manage direct debits to ensure accuracy of information and correct amounts are processed. Manage failed direct debit payments and contact customers to organise a reschedule time for direct debits. Contact customers in default to organise payment and determine a payment arrangement. Bank account reconciliations.

Load and run payroll. Process staff leave requests and manage staff information in payroll system. Process and file returns with Inland Revenue including but not limited to GST and PAYE. Collate information and process reports as required by Management. Respond to customer accounting related inquiries in a timely and efficient manner by telephone and email. Bank Cheques and facilitate company deposits of payments into the company bank account.

Complete and follow all reasonable directions and general administration tasks given by management in an efficiently and in a timely manner with a positive attitude and with the maximum of skill. Take all steps necessary to prevent or avoid wherever possible any disruption of clients, or inaccurate billing of client direct debits. To actively contribute both ideas and skills towards the improvement and efficiency of the company's processes and procedures. To be a problem solver who actively seeks to find simple, cost effective solutions to problems with a minimum of instruction. To complete all relevant paperwork in a professional like manner on time, every time.

We’re looking for someone who can contribute to our reputation for excellent construction, and who can hit the ground running. The successful candidate will have Accounts payable/receivables experience or accounting qualification.  High computer literacy. Strong numerical and problem-solving skills.
