About the Role
Preparation of individual tax returns
Preparation of monthly/quarterly BAS and management reports
Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for partnerships, companies and trusts
Liaison with clients and managing client relationship
Assisting our clients to grow their businesses by better understanding tax compliance
Assistance in annual tax planning for client groups
The ideal candidate will have:
Accounting degree with a good academic record
Min. 1–2 years of tax compliance experience in public practice
Tech-savvy with a genuine interest in cloud accounting. Competent with Xero
Started or planning to start CPA/CA
Strong communication and client-facing skills
Self-motivated and keen to take initiatives
Ability to listen and learn quickly and hit the ground running!
Good understanding of ATO and ASIC processes
Commercial and real-world approach in problem solving
Reasonable research skills and an enquiring mind
Interest and commitment in keeping up to date with tax legislations
Great attention to detail that is balanced by a flexible, professionally inquisitive mind
