Accountant iNdie talent location Auckland. Salary 90-100k.

We have recently been engaged by a large, privately owned SAAS business, on the look out for an enthusiastic, CA qualified Accountant.  As part of a collaborative, supportive team, this broad role will support both the Operations & People and Performance process streams within a Shared Services function. We are ideally looking for a newly qualified CA/CPA accountant with experience working for a Big 4 professional services firm or within a large, complex commercial environment.

The workload will be varied in content and include but not limited to the following management Accounting, including detailed meaningful variance analysis against forecast and budgets. Participate in the creation of the annual operating budget.

Preparation of month-end and year-end financial reporting packs, including consolidated P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements. Design and implement regular reports to support the analysis and review of payroll discrepancies or variances. Monthly reconciliations of all payroll accounts (i.e., superannuation, holiday pay, bonuses, FBT, PAYE, payroll taxes). Assisting with an array of on going process improvement initiatives.

The Finance Team are currently working through a major rebuilding phase, meaning opportunities to grow and develop professionally are a very real possibility. You will be resilient, adaptable and possess strong technical accounting knowledge as well as the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, under pressure. Advanced excel skills are a must with Netsuite experience hugely advantageous.
