Accountant Private Advertiser location Sydney. Salary $70,000 - $79,999.
About the role as the Accountant, you will working on a day-to-day financial tasks. This role will join a talented team led by one of the directors. You will work closely with the team and be given the opportunity to have a tangible impact on the strategic choices made across the business.

Key responsibilities include financial analysis and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, developing and managing financial systems, preparing annual budgets, preparation of monthly reports, reconciliation, data entry into accounting system, assisting with ad-hoc financial analysis, maintaining employment record management systems, bring new ideas and initiatives to drive change in the accounting space and business more generally.
Ideally, you will possess the following skills and qualifications at least 3 years’ relevant experience as a Accountant. A Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance or related course. Studying towards a CA/CPA. Demonstrated relevant accounting experience in busy and dynamic environments. A great eye for detail. Strong XERO accounting skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills expected due to direct client contact.
Demonstrated intermediate/advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Sound knowledge of accounting best practices, and the statutory and regulatory framework including TO, DCJ and NDIS. The ability to work collaboratively and identify requirements for organisational success. English Fluency to be able to communicate with team and external stakeholders.
