Company with an enviable reputation for quality in direct sales and marketing of Scientific Instrumentation, our client is a long established, global organisation. They provide solutions in many fields and currently seek a professional Accountant to contribute to the outstanding growth and profitability success of their Australian Business.

Role reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is responsible for managing the financial and administrative functions of the business, including completion of monthly accounts, P&L and Balance sheets. In addition, the role will manage all Income Tax, FBT and GST lodgements, monthly forecasts, quarterly and annual reporting to the International Head office, as well as Inventory management including reporting and analysis. The position currently has a small number of direct reports.

Person: The successful candidate will be degree qualified with either CPA or ACA certification, and be more than familiar with some form of Accounting ERP system. The company uses SAP B1. You will need a very good knowledge of Microsoft Office software and will possess sound written and verbal communication skills. The person will be a strong team player and will need to be proactive, willing to take on additional responsibilities as required, and work closely with the senior management team. Training will of course be provided.

Remuneration the Company will provide a generous base salary, bonus, superannuation and relevant business tools including a generous car allowance.
