We’re searching for someone who gets things done, shows initiative and has a positive “can do” attitude. Some of the key attributes required to be successful in securing this role are excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as attention to detail.

Skills & experience the role will ideally suit an experienced all-rounder Accountant with a positive can-do attitude. The successful candidate will be able to problem-solve, have a proactive work ethic coupled with the following qualifications, experience and attributes bachelor degree and/or equivalent accounting qualification essential, minimum of 4-year experience in similar position(s), advance level in Excel, excellent verbal and written English communication skills, self-motivated with high levels energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude, attention to detail with superior organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and plan multiple activities and meet objectives within established timelines, able to effectively communicate at all organisational levels in both verbal and written form with superior listening skills, integrity – maintains legal, social and organisational standards and values and honours commitments, understanding of legislation associated with the preparation and maintenance of organisational financials (including payroll and GST), essential that you have netsuite experience.

Responsibilities prepare regular monthly revenue and expense reports for management to include actuals and comparing to budget forecasts, manage payroll; rates of pay and super entitlements, management of accounts payable and receivable, experience using netsuite accounting software, preparation of annual company tax returns, preparation of quarterly profit and loss reports, tax reduction strategies, asic annual return reporting.

Reconciliation of all accounts, respond to financial enquiries, proactive in improving internal processes, preparing reports for management.
