Love food, events and planning? We're looking for a proactive, detail-savvy Account Manager to lead the client journey--from first inquiry to post-event wrap-up. You'll manage enquiries, craft custom proposals, and work closely with our event and kitchen teams to deliver seamless, memorable experiences. You'll also dip into marketing and creative!

The Account Manager is responsible for:
Client Management & Sales: Managing the client journey from initial inquiry through to post-event follow-up. Building trusted relationships and driving bookings through exceptional service. Identifying client needs and looking for opportunities to add value through upselling
Organisation and coordination: Managing the enquiry flow and tracking the progress of leads. Responsible for general administrative tasks related to the customer journey.
Sales Growth: Creating proposals, converting leads, and maintaining a high conversion rate with consistent pipeline activity.
Collaboration & Coordination: Ensuring clear communication with internal teams and occasionally assisting with event logistics and planning.
Operational Flexibility: Supporting the team across business functions during peak times.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
CLIENT & SALES MANAGEMENT

Act as the first point of contact for new and returning clients via email, phone, and website inquiries, delivering timely and professional communication.
Qualify leads by understanding client goals, budgets, and expectations, and prepare tailored proposals that reflect Aplenty's values and offerings.
Nurture leads through the full sales cycle, following up regularly to increase conversion rates and ensure clients feel supported and informed.
Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate client data, timelines, and communication logs to support transparency and collaboration.
Proactively identify upselling opportunities and work toward monthly and quarterly sales goals.
SALES & MARKETING SUPPORT

Assist in the development of custom sales presentations, seasonal catering packages, and event proposals.
Support social media content execution (managed externally) and seasonal campaign planning by feeding in ideas, testimonials, and imagery from past events, Occasional assistance on shoots, assistance with prop/ingredient sourcing etc
Updating website content post events.
Identifying and exploring new lead sources, referral partnerships, and local marketing opportunities.
EVENT & TEAM COLLABORATION

Clear, thorough and timely handover of event inclusions/exclusions to Event Operations Manager for Operational and Kitchen execution
Liaise with the Event Operations Manager to align on client expectations, ensuring all details are captured and communicated effectively.
Attend select events as a client representative to support front-of-house service and ensure a seamless client experience.
Prepare and share comprehensive internal briefing documents for the kitchen and events team, ensuring clarity and accountability across departments.
BUSINESS OPERATIONAL SUPPORT

Provide support with general administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, issuing quotes and invoices, and updating calendars.
Step into broader business support functions when needed, including event prep, internal team planning, and customer feedback follow-up.
Offer constructive suggestions to improve client experience, streamline operations, and ensure our service remains best-in-class.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
1–2 years of experience in sales, client services, or event coordination
Background in hospitality or events industry preferred but not essential
Confident communicator with strong written/email skills
CRM experience and general tech proficiency
Multitasker who thrives in a dynamic environment
Comfortable working independently and in a small, agile team
