About the role reporting to the National Sales Manager, this Account Manager position at GS Hall in based in their Mt.Wellington head office and involves managing existing and new customer accounts. The role requires implementing sales strategies, fostering customer relationships, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to some of NZ’s top food and beverage manufacturers.

Key responsibilities identify sales leads, manages accounts, and acquires new business opportunities. Build positive relationships within customer accounts across departments is a crucial aspect of the role. Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline and ensuring customer satisfaction are top priorities.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders on industry developments and sales progress is essential. Set and report on KPIs, develops account plans, and tracks key metrics. Contribute to marketing programs, generating customer lists, and implementing social media strategies are integral parts of the role. Participate in sales projects and trade shows is expected.

Key attributes 3 years + experience in an account manager role servicing manufacturing companies. Relevant industry experience with ingredients, FMCG or packaging companies will be preferred. Collaborative team player with a customer-focused mindset. Passionate, eager to learn, and committed to contributing to GS Hall's success. Able to have a laugh while still being able to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in.
