Description
genU is looking for a professional and welcoming Access & Enquiry Officer to be the first point of contact for clients, families, carers, and service providers, providing accurate guidance and a positive experience. In this role, you’ll ensure enquiries are managed efficiently and empathetically, while supporting smooth front-of-house and administrative operations across genU sites.

What you’ll do
As an Access & Enquiry Officer in our Access Support team you’ll:
Respond promptly and professionally to client and stakeholder enquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information and appropriate referrals
Maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible reception environment across genU sites
Assist with general administrative tasks including mail distribution, data entry, and document handling
Provide support for fleet coordination, ensuring vehicles are booked, monitored, and records are maintained
Process cash transactions and daily reconciliations in line with organisational procedures and financial controls
Deliver services consistently in alignment with genU’s values, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Work collaboratively with colleagues to foster a positive team culture and cohesive service delivery
Follow safety procedures and promote a safe, respectful, and healthy environment for clients, visitors, and staff
What you’ll bring
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally and empathetically with clients, families, and stakeholders
Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail
Experience in reception, customer service, or client-facing roles
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive and professional demeanour
Collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to a supportive team culture
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
