Junior Accountant KIA Motors location Sydney. Kia Motors is one of the world’s fastest growing motor vehicle manufacturers and represented in over 172 countries across the globe. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Accountant, this role will report to the Financial Manager on a fixed term contract. The successful candidate will provide support for the financial controller and financial managers with day to day accounting and finance operations, support month end closing and reporting, prepare all quarterly/monthly/weekly reports in a timely manner, prepare balance sheet reconciliations and report the risks/opportunities, assist in preparation of the annual finance budget and monthly forecast, manage allocated department budget while partnering with departments/stakeholders, assist in the implementation of company best practice control processes and reporting automation, liaise with internal and external auditors, other ad hoc reporting and analysis as required. To be successful for this role you will have the following skills and experience bachelor’s degree in accounting (working toward a ca/cpa qualification), 1-3 years’ experience in financial and management accounting, knowledge of sap and ms office (preferred, not essential), excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail, sound organisational and time management skills, maintaining a “can do” attitude.
