Customer Service Officer Planned Resources location Melbourne.
A Customer Service Officer is required within an Eastern Suburbs local government organisation for a short-term temporary role until end of January 2021. You provide a responsive interface between the community and council through a number of service environments. The role will provide courteous and responsive answers and solutions to customer enquiries. You will also provide effective and valuable service to internal stakeholders, ensuring communications are clear, concise and accurate.
To be successful you will have a minimum of 2 years Customer Service call centre experience and be available 4 days a week from Monday to Friday excluding Public Holidays and have full availability over December 2020 and January 2021 excluding Public Holidays. Prior local government or public sector experience is desirable. You will have excellent demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and be able to handle difficult situations. You will have a high proficiency in customer request systems, windows/web based programs and call centre technologies. You will hold a current Victorian Drivers License.
