Assistant Lease Accounting Analyst. Exciting opportunity for a finance professional to join a dynamic team. Ongoing full-time role available, based in Parramatta. Generous remuneration package. Level 3 / 4 salary from $72,418 – 79,217 (plus super and annual leave loading). We are currently seeking an Assistant Lease Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team.
In the role of Assistant Lease Accounting Analyst, you will support the Lease Accounting Analyst to provide analysis, advice and recommendations across a range of financial issues. You will extract and update existing datasets using business intelligence tools to provide monthly reports on the department’s lease and property asset management and use financial models to facilitate budgets and forecasts.
Your role will be to add meaningful insights to lease data – you will work with stakeholders to explain the impact of lease data on budgets and forecasts, and vice versa. You will also assist stakeholders to make decisions based on your reports. In this role, you will provide guidance on process improvements regarding the collection and analysis of lease data and ensure accounting practices, internal controls and statutory requirements are adhered to
About you to be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience in financial reporting and analysis. You will apply your strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data and provide recommendations that contribute to informed decision-making and improved business performance.
You will be an excellent communicator with strong project management skills and the ability to manage your own workload to balance competing demands and priorities. Demonstrated skills and experience in building strong, collaborative partnerships with a wide range of internal stakeholders is essential to ensure you become a trusted advisor and partner.
Essential requirements experience and knowledge of financial operations, accounting and reporting practices in a large organisation.
